Objective:
Tutors and teaching staff are those that first hear of the worries and problems of resident doctors and are those that can influence which attitudes should be adopted and actions taken, especially when such worries are stress related or pertaining to psychological problems.
This workshop offers a space for debate and reflection in order to answer questions such as: “What is the role of the tutor when faced with a resident doctor suffering problems?”, “Is it possible to guide a resident doctor on a path of healthy career development?”, “Which tools and resources are available in order to achieve this?”.
Methodology:
The workshops will be based on practical exercises and case discussions. Data and theoretical concepts relating to the health of both qualified and resident doctors will be explained. Resources and skills to deal with problems within the setting of tutorial sessions will be introduced.
Participants:
Doctors and other teaching staff acting as tutors at the soliciting health institution (maximum of 20 participants).
Venue: Soliciting health institution.
Duration: 4 hours.
